Photography sessions can take place outdoors, at a location of your choice, or in the studio, depending on the type of session and package selected.
Family Photography
Family photography is designed to document your family as you are right now.
Sessions combine natural interactions with gently guided portraits to create a gallery filled with genuine expressions, connection, laughter, and beautiful family portraits.

What Is Included?
Family photography packages include professional photography, editing, an online gallery, digital downloads, and a print release.
A 30-minute session includes up to 50 edited images.
A one-hour session includes up to 100 edited images.
Maternity Photography

Maternity sessions can be photographed outdoors in natural light or in the studio. The session can focus on the expectant mother, include a partner, or incorporate the entire family.

How Much Does Family Photography Cost?

30-Minute Photography Session
$400
$575 in studio
A shorter session for families who want a focused photography experience. The session can take place at the studio or a location of your choosing and includes a curated gallery with up to 50 edited images.
One-Hour Photography Session
$600
$775 in studio
A longer session providing additional time for family combinations, movement, different locations within the same area, and more variety in the final gallery. Up to 100 edited images are included.
Three-Session Milestone Package
$1,500
$1,900 in studio
This package includes three one-hour sessions and is designed for families who want to document multiple milestones.
Sessions can be used to photograph maternity and newborn stages or to preserve your family's growth from year to year.
Can We Choose Our Photography Location?
Yes.
Portrait sessions can take place at the studio or at a location selected by your family. Outdoor locations are particularly popular because natural light and open spaces allow families to interact comfortably.
Northwest Chicago Photographers also travels throughout the Chicago area and can accommodate destination photography sessions with additional travel considerations when applicable.
What Photography Style Do You Offer?
The photography style is authentic, natural, heartfelt, and timeless.
Sessions include a mixture of guided portraits and candid interactions. Instead of expecting everyone to remain perfectly posed, the photographer creates opportunities for natural connection and genuine expressions.
How Many Photos Will We Receive?
The number of photographs depends on the package.
The 30-minute session includes up to 50 images, while the one-hour session includes up to 100 images. Images are professionally edited and delivered through an online gallery in high-resolution and web-size formats.
When Will We Receive Our Photos?
Final edited images are delivered through an online gallery after the session. The current portrait-session guide indicates a full gallery is delivered approximately four weeks after the session.
The online gallery allows clients to download and share their photographs and provides access to professional print options.
