Chicago extended family session

As a Chicago extended family photographer, I adore capturing the energy and connection that comes with big family gatherings. This recent session in Bloomingdale, Illinois was filled with joy, love, and laughter from start to finish. With 15 family members—including plenty of giggling children—the day was a beautiful celebration of togetherness. We mixed playful group shots with heartfelt moments between grandparents, parents, and little ones. The smiles were endless, and the love was unmistakable. Extended family sessions like this remind me why I love what I do—preserving memories that span generations and reflect the warmth of family bonds.
